21 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING | JANUARY 9-29

You can still join in the 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. The goal of this time is to draw nearer to God. Biblical prayer & fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it a great reset button of our soul!

HEARTS FOR THE HUNGRY | JANUARY 25

Join us downtown the fourth Tuesday of the month to help us serve dinner to some of our homeless population. We meet at the parking lot on the northeast corner of Bridge St. and Granada St. behind the Lightner Museum at 5:30pm to set up and the meal starts at 6:00pm.

MEAL PACKING EVENT | JANUARY 30

You’re not going to want to miss Sunday, January 30th at 10am as we gather to worship and pack meals with Lifeline Ministries. Plan to wear comfortable clothes and shoes to work in and together we’ll pack 7500 meals for families in need.

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING | FEBRUARY 13

One in six teens in America face food insecurity. When you bring in non-perishable can goods on February 13th, you’re helping tackle hunger right here in our community. All items will go to support the Gamble Rogers food pantry. Our goal this year is 250 items.

Please check your email (and spam folder) and mailboxes for your 2021 Giving Statements. All statements should arrive by January 31st. If you do not receive your giving statement by January 31st please contact the church office.

God’s Kitchen | Palatka, FL

God’s Kitchen’s mission is simply to provide and deliver one home nutrition meal per day to adults who are permanently or temporarily home bound due to physical or mental disability. They believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy and valued life. God’s Kitchen volunteers are providing them not only a hot meal but also contact they may need with another human every time we deliver a meal.

Ways You Can Pray For God’s Kitchen:
-Pray for more clients to find God’s Kitchen who are in need of help
-Pray for God to continue to meet their clients physical and spiritual needs
-Pray for the volunteers who serve with God’s Kitchen and give of their time, energy, and resources
