21 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING | TODAY – JANUARY 28

Join your church family in Homeport’s annual season of prayer and fasting. Start the new year of right by focusing on your relationship with God over these 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. The goal of this time is to draw nearer to God. Biblical prayer & fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out! Find more information here.

PRAYER NIGHT | Starting THIS SUNDAY, JANUARY 8 at 6PM

We’re kicking-off our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting with an evening of prayer. Join us as come together to pray for our church, our missionaries, each other, and the lost and hurting around us. There’s no expectation to pray out loud, just come as we lift up our prayers together.

MEN’S MINISTRY BREAKFAST | JANUARY 14

All the men of Homeport and invited to join this ministry and enjoy breakfast. Meet in the modular building at 8:30 am.

SERVICE DAY AT GOD’S KITCHEN | JANUARY 16

If you would like to see what one of our missions does, plan to go to God’s Kitchen and help plate food or ride along with one of the volunteers to deliver food. Meet at 8:00AM in Palatka 2000 Silver Lake Drive 32177 or contact Kristy Paul, Kendra Lee or Dennis Childers. Sign up sheet in the Lobby.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY MEETING | JANUARY 21

Ladies, mark your calendars and plan to join us for a time of fun, food, and fellowship. We meet the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10am. If you can, bring a brunch item to share. Plans will be made for 2023- service projects, meeting ideas and fun.

God’s Kitchen: We’re collecting non-perishable items like canned vegetables, rice, potatoes, pasta, etc.

Located in Palatka, FL, God’s Kitchen’s mission is simply to provide and deliver nutrition meals to those who are permanently or temporarily home bound due to physical or mental disability. We believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy and valued life. God’s Kitchen volunteers are providing them not only a hot meal but also contact they may need with another human every time we deliver a meal. We believe that it is our duty, as Christians, to simply obey God’s call to help these people and make people aware of this needs while respecting the dignity of each client.
