WOMEN’S MINISTRY MEETING | JANUARY 15 | 10AM
All the ladies of Homeport are invited and encouraged to attend the first meeting of the new year. We will be selecting new Secret Sisters and new officers at this meeting as well as selecting a new service project. (Bring any ideas you have) We serve a few brunch items and if you would like to bring something feel free.
21 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING | JANUARY 9-29
Join your church family in Homeport’s annual season of prayer and fasting. Start the new year off right by focusing on your relationship with God over these 21 days. The goal of this time is to draw nearer to God. Biblical prayer and fasting always has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose; it hits the reset button of our soul and renews us from the inside out.
MEAL PACKING EVENT | JANUARY 30
Did you know that in a little over an hour and for .25 cents a meal we can impact the lives of 30,000 people? Missions Spotlight
God’s Kitchen | Palatka, FL
www.homeportcc.org/missions/
God’s Kitchen’s mission is simply to provide and deliver one home nutrition meal per day to adults who are permanently or temporarily home bound due to physical or mental disability. They believe that everyone deserves to live a healthy and valued life. God’s Kitchen volunteers are providing them not only a hot meal but also contact they may need with another human every time we deliver a meal.
Ways You Can Pray For God’s Kitchen:
-Pray for more clients to find God’s Kitchen who are in need of help
-Pray for God to continue to meet their clients physical and spiritual needs
-Pray for the volunteers who serve with God’s Kitchen and give of their time, energy, and resources
