What is essential and what is non-essential? When we study passages about certain topics we are faced with this question. As humans, we tend to make mountains out of mole hills when it comes to these topics. The goal for us as we study Mark 13 is to know what was for the people in Jerusalem and what is for us today while not planting out feet hard in topics that are not essential to our salvation.
