Sometimes we read the end of the Gospels and wonder why they end with Jesus’ death. Couldn’t God have redeemed this people in another way? But this has been the plan. Just as the lamb was slay to save the His people in Israel, Jesus shows us in Mark 14 that He is the sacrificial lamb that will save God’s people once and for all.
