IDENTIFY MINISTRIES SEMINAR | AUGUST 14 3PM-5PM

Join us Sunday afternoon here at the church building from 3pm-5pm for Identify Ministries: Christian Parents Impacting The Sexual Revolution. This seminar will equip parents whose children have been influenced by the sex culture and help prepare the church to minister effectively and confidently with their loved ones struggling with homosexuality and transgenderism without compromising faith or scriptural integrity.

WOMEN’S QUILTING GROUP | AUGUST 18 & 20

Come out and join us this month for a time of women’s fellowship.  Harriet Moseley will be leading the quilting sessions on Thursday, August 18th or Saturday, August 20th at 10AM in the modular building. Several have asked and the sewing is being done on sewing machines. This months Christmas Stocking is on the board in the lobby as well as the sign up sheet. We need to make 30 stockings for our Angel Tree and 1 for yourself and we could use a lot of volunteer quilters. (Most of us are beginners) All supplies are furnished.

Missions Spotlight

Identify Ministries
www.identifyministries.org

Identify Ministries exists to provide Christian discipleship, training and support to people impacted by sexual and relational issues. Their goal is to help those who struggle with sexual and relational brokenness and confusion through their personal relationship with Jesus and the people in their lives. We also aim to equip our local community with the confidence and skill required to fulfill its unique roles in the lives of those suffering and looking for their way forward in Jesus.

These are some specific ways you can pray for Identify Ministries:
– For Derek and his upcoming opportunities to speak in Gainesville and Lakeland
– Transitions in the office with new staff and technology
– For the stressors of balancing home life and ministry
